The Summer of Books
I don’t have a snake and I’m not going to get one. HA! I knew it! Or… rather Sicath knew it. No matter mom says I can have a pug puppy. Wither I’m going to get one from Gizmo’s first litter if she has more than seven or I have to wait for the third litter (which will be Gizmo’s second litter)
I just finished The Black Swan by Mercedes Lackey which I started this morning. It’s a great book and I like the different take on the swan princess… thing. The only thing I have to complain about is that Odile gets soft by the end and sympathetic. Always a bad idea. Oh well. Other than that I loved it.
I’m also reading The Goblet of Fire for the seventh or eighth time in preparation for The Half Blood Prince. I can’t WAIT! *coughs*
This summer is the summer of good movies (hopefully) and long awaited books (hopefully*)
*The reason I say hopefully is because I’ve been waiting for a Feast For Crows for two years! And each summer and autumn he says it’s coming out then it doesn’t come out!!! LE GRR!
Also Eldest the new installment in the Inheritance Trilogy is coming and sometime (I’m not sure when) The New Abarat Book is coming out!
See? Books, books, books! And maybe a pug!
Ahem as fro stories that I’m planning on working on:
I want to turn the Ant Marching Song into a Story and then, expanding on that, have my own Fairy Tale, literally.
I also want to work on the dream story I had which features Asa’s kid as well as Damia’s.
I have a few Birden ideas that don’t have anything. Not even characters.
Then I also want to work on my Ghost story and the Dream Weaver Series.
Once again I’m a busy little bee, which is good because come summer I’m going to need a break from all the school work I need to do.
And it turns out Gayle is in six of my books! Here is the list;
The Hinomi Mt. Chronicles
The Ripples in the Dark Series
A Wicked Song
The Dragon Queen
The Nameless Emperor
Stolen Paradise
All of those are going to feature a character inspired by Gayle *grins and waves at her*
I know this is a fairly short post but I decided just a quick check in should be enough for my… uh… oh-so-attentive audience *coughs*. But maybe when I send the link to my sisters (by soul and mind if not by blood) I’ll have someone who reads my crap. Ciao!
(*waves to Beth and Jessi* (look I spelled your name right!))
