Will our hero get a snake? Tune in next time to find out!
Goodness! It was quite a day, I was actually semi-active today.
Mom and I went out early this morning and checked out this horse riding stable down the road a little way and it looked like something out of some horror movie so that was a no go, beside they only did trail rides and I’m more into that running thins, ah well, I’ll find something that suits me, eventually.
After that we went to the pet store on Evergreen and talked to a guy about buying a snake, I don’t think I’ll be getting a snake anytime soon. And I know it may sound really insane but when we were taking Wolfie, my brother, home or coming back from a movie or something with my brother, it seemed that there was this little voice came from my shoulder and said, in a kind of off hand way; “You’re not getting a snake you know.”
And I know that voice, I would know that voice anywhere. That was Sicath, my alter ego (or one of them) my pessimistic, dry, skeptical, sarcastic side that sees right through the fog and tells it how it is.
And she said it, plain and simple as that, and so far she was right. Tomorrow I think I’ll talk to mom and ask her honestly if she thinks I’m going to get a snake.
Moving on, after the pet shop we went to rite aid and the loan place. Mom paid off her loan and we dropped off Eden’s camera or one hour development. Then we trotted ourselves over to Toy’s R Us and picked out a couple of presents for Eden (SHE’S 19 TODAY!!!) then picked up the film and got mom’s hair cut. After that we grabbed some lunch and went home where mom promptly took a nap and I promptly got on the computer.
GASP! They’re remaking the last unicorn! I kid you not! I really home it’s animated, cause if it’s not the director is going to have to please a lot of people with the part of Amalthea. What was really stupid was that a lot of the people had only seen the movie and hadn’t read the book. If they had been talking face to face I think I might have slapped them.
I posted, of course, and was my usual curmudgeon self. Go me. I love being pessimistic. After that I worked on the character sketch of Burakku. You can see it on my other blog.
Next order of business; I also found out that there is a movie based on The Picture of Dorian Grey and that Ryan Phillippe will have the leading roll for that film. I have to read it now so I can point out all the mistakes and annoy everyone endlessly. MUAHAHA!
Now for some news a little closer to home: there’s a creepy guy wandering around my neighborhood. Chris really doesn’t like it and made both mom and me clubs that we can protect ourselves with.
Now I can’t say that I haven’t been in this kind of situation before, I used to live in Oakland, California, but this is the first time it’s happened and I’ve been able to really understand what’s going on so I’m all jittery and such. Ah well, it’ll pass.
I’m going to study the vocabulary mom gave me to help her study for her test and then I’m pooping off to bed to get a good nights sleep, for once. Tomorrow I plan to get up relatively early and go to the school with mom. See ya!
