Quite The Day

Jeeze! It’s been hell today.

So I wake up this morning and the first thing I do is take a shower and I keep having to jump out because one of our female pugs is just getting out of heat and the male was all over her. So I finally get my hair washed and then I sit down at the comp and I start to write in my creative journal- the newest entry was the tower, pretty cool- until mom comes home.

And mom’s been having a real hell of a day, her math is frustrating her and the dogs peed all over the bed so she through them out and made herself some lunch. She was having two frozen chimichangas but, here’s something awful, something wrong with the cheese. It was awful so she had to toss it and then for the next two hours pounded her brain to do math.
So I go outside and I go check the mail and I realize... Gizmo is the only one following me. Not thinking to much of it I look for the dogs in their usual spots, under the tree, behind the shed and I can’t find them. Then I see Gizmo walking through a little hole in the fence.
I bolt back to the back door and tell mom the dogs got out. The next two hours were spent searching, knocking and asking, for those wretched dogs.
Then mom calls the humane society on a prompt from Chris and the lady on the other line told her where she needed to go. The people who found our dogs were literally one block up from us.
Needless to say we got the dogs back and then we made cupcakes and a card for the people who found the puglets, so it’s all good but I feel so drained. Ugh!
First thing in the morning tomorrow mom and I are going to go get them there tags so this won’t ever happen again!
The reason why we were so worried was because we have coyotes all over this neighborhood so as soon as night fell they would become delivery!
Now Chris is on his way down to California with Nick to some motocross race or another and he’ll be back on Monday.
As I said, one hell of a day.
